# Add a payout account
> Save the bank account AgentaOS pays your EUR or USD balance to, and read the name check that follows.
A payout account is the bank account AgentaOS sends your balance to. You add one per currency, EUR or USD: sales in EUR pay out to a EUR account, and sales in USD to a USD account. See [Where payouts go](/payouts/overview#where-payouts-go). A payout account belongs to your business, not to test or live mode: the account you add in test mode is the one live payouts use. You can add an account before your verification is done, so your first payout is ready to go when it is.

## Add a bank account
In the dashboard sidebar, click **Balances**. Then click the **Payout accounts** tab.
Click **Add bank account**. The **Add payout account** panel opens.
* **Pay me in**: choose **EUR** or **USD**. This is the currency of the balance that pays out to this account.
* **Account type**: choose **Inside Europe** or **Outside Europe**.
* **Account holder type**: choose **Person** or **Business**.
For a EUR account inside Europe, the form asks for:
* **Full name of the account holder**: the name exactly as your bank holds it, including a legal suffix such as Ltd or GmbH.
* **Bank code (BIC/SWIFT)**: optional.
* **IBAN**.
Our banking partner decides the fields for each currency and account type, so a USD account or an account outside Europe asks for different details.
Click **Save account**. The panel shows **Account saved** and the result of the name check.
The **Payout accounts** section says: "The holder name should match your verified legal name." Use the name from your [account review](/mor/account-review).
## The name check
When you save the account, our banking partner asks your bank whether the holder name matches the account. The account then shows one of these labels:
| Label | What it means | What to do |
| - | - | - |
| **Ready for payouts** | The name matches, or your bank's country has no name check. | Nothing. |
| **Ready — check the name** | "Only part of the name matched the bank". Payouts still go to this account. | Confirm the name is correct. |
| **Not usable yet** | "The name doesn't match the bank's records". AgentaOS cannot pay out to this account. | Deactivate the account. Add it again with the name exactly as your bank holds it. |
When only part of the name matches, the panel shows **Double-check the name**. When the name does not match, the panel shows **Name doesn't match**. If the name still does not match after you add the account again, ask your bank for the exact name on the account.
When your bank's country has no name check, the panel shows **Nothing to do here**. The account is ready for payouts, but make sure that the name is correct.
## Which account gets paid
For each currency, a payout goes to your newest bank account that is ready for payouts. The top of the **Payout accounts** section shows, per currency, the account that the next payout uses.
To change the account, add the new one. To stop using an account, click the trash icon on its row, then click **Deactivate**.
