# Businesses

> Manage your clients' businesses from the terminal, and run any command as one of them with the business option.

`agenta businesses` is for [platforms](/connect/overview): the businesses you manage, whether a client's business or another app of your own company.

## Commands

| Command | What it does |

| `agenta businesses list` | Every business you manage, with its status. |
| `agenta businesses get <id>` | One business, with its status. |
| `agenta businesses create --name … --country … [--client-email …] [--same-company] [--no-invite-email]` | Add a business. |
| `agenta businesses invite <id> [--no-email]` | Send your client's invitation again. A new link; the old one stops working. |
| `agenta businesses revoke-invite <id>` | Withdraw the open invitation. Its link stops working. |
| `agenta businesses id-link <id>` | The identity check link for your client. Only they can complete it. |

## Create

## Invite

Once your client has joined, the invitation is theirs to manage and this is refused.

If the client is already verified it says so and gives no link. The identity check is real, so a test API key is refused. Signed in with `agenta login`, the command works in test mode too, as the **ID check link** button in the dashboard does. Another app of your own company has no identity check of its own.

## `--business` on every command

Add `--business <id>` to **any** `agenta` command to run it as a business you manage. Leave it out to act as yourself.

Filing a client's verification with `agenta verify submit … --business <id>` is recorded as filed by the platform. A business you do not manage is refused with `You cannot act as this business.`

### File a client's verification

This is the same verification any account submits, sent as the business. We record it as filed by the platform, and our reviewers see that. File only what your client confirmed to you.

  Add `--json` to any command for a single JSON object, e.g. `agenta businesses create … --json` returns `business`, `inviteToken` and `inviteUrl`.
